The restaurant was very clean on the outside and the inside. There were no noticeable flaws in the building. The building was in good condition, the signage was visible from the highway, and the lighting was functional and bright.

The location was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The tables and seats were in good
condition. The ladies' restroom was clean and fully stocked. The hibachi grill was spotless. The server and the hibachi cook were both dressed in black pants with a white collared shirt neatly tucked in to the pants. The appearance of the restaurant and the staff made a positive first impression.

There was a very large range of food options on the menu. There were salads, seafood dishes, chicken, steak, noodles, vegetables and rice. On the menus, it advertised the choice of fried rice and steamed rice. It was no problem to substitute one for the other. If one made a request for there to be extra sauce on my rice, and cook made a separate order just for you. There was no additional charge for the sauce.

The chicken was tender and cut into small, bite-sized pieces about one half-inch in size. The chicken was juicy and very easy to chew. It was covered with teriyaki sauce. It was very flavorful and had just the right amount of sauces and spices on it. It was served steaming hot, right off the hibachi grill. The rice was steamed white rice. It was a large size portion, approximately 10 ounces The rice was made on the hibachi grill and put directly on the plate. It was steaming hot. It was cooked well and served at the proper temperature. The rice was not sticky or undercooked. It was moist and flavorful. The vegetables were a mixture of zucchini, squash, onion, carrots and broccoli. They were cooked on the grill for about 16 minutes. This made the vegetables easy to chew. They were fairly soft. They were also cooked in light oil and a flavored butter which gave them a unique taste. They were seasoned with salt and pepper. The meal came with soup, which was a large portion and served hot. It was a
clear broth that complemented the flavor of the chicken. The salad was served on the side, and the portion was larger than expected. It had fresh greens and was topped with an orange house dressing, which was flavored like Thousand Island dressing mixed with an Asian spice. It was crisp and served chilled.
